Transparent water when viewed through a frogspawn

What I expected to happen was...:
Blue water.

What actually happened was...:
Water can't be seen though inner side faces of frogspawn sometimes.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Place a frogspawn at eye level.
2. Walk left and right.
3. Profit.
