Crafting Table Problem in Multiplayer

So recently I downloaded Minecraft to my computer. I was able to play Singleplayer mode easily but when I joined Hypixel or any other server to play skyblock, I was not able to stack any item with eacother. Nor was I able to even drag the items normally. Can anyone help me with this issue please?
(By the way, Shift-click or any other shorcuts do not work too.)
