Interactions cancelled when holding a goat horn that is on cooldown

If you are holding a goat horn (sing is the one I used) and blow it, it will be on cooldown for a few seconds. During this time, you can't interact with any blocks (such as doors, chests, crafting tables etc). It seems like it is cancelling the Interact Event for some reason.
