frog light issue

my frinds and i were playing on a recently updated our server to 1.19 and we got frogs. because we got frogs we wanted froglights and we followed the steps of feeding a frog a small magma cube which we expected to work but we only got magma creams. i dont know if we just have a glitchy server or it just doesnt work.
