Villagers are prioritized over players when picking up items

The villager/mobs nearby a breaking boat with chest pick up items faster than player

Steps to Reproduce:

  Step 1: Put villager-pickable items into the boat with chest
  Step 2: put a villager nearby the boat with chest
  Step 3: player stand nearby the boat with chest also 
  Step 4: break the boat with chest

 

Observed Results:

The villager immediately pickup the items that he is allowed to pickup (ie. wheat, bread, wheat seed, etc.

Expected Results:

The player pickup the items first or items in the boat with chest lays on the ground waiting player to pick them up 

Notes:

The villager still follows the 8 slot inventory rules, but can still pick 8 stack items.
Same instant picking up occurs in piglin yet it can only pick up one gold ingot once.

The items that the villager picked-up does not drop when the player kills him.
