Dupe glitch done by boat with chest

If you were to place down a boat with chest, put the item you want to dupe into the chest, have a friend get into the boat, turn on an auto clicker clicking on the item, then have your friend leave the game, the item may reappear back into your hotbar and stay in the boat, successfully duping the item.
