Can't migrate minecraft account

Upon trying to migrate my Minecraft account (of which I've had the game for sometime and payed full price for when I bought it) to a Microsoft account i was shown a message saying "Ohhh no something went wrong" (screenshot attached) and told me to try again or contact support. I tried three times before contacting support here. Additionally, when I go to play minecraft, I have a microsoft account on the game but it only lets me play the demo version, not the paid version of the game that I own. I just want my account back and to be able to play. Please help.
