Beginning to eat while going up ladder causes eating noises and particles to last too long

*Could not manage to reproduce bug.*

 

While eating bread I began to climb up a ladder, and noticed that even though the held item part of the animation ended, the particles and sounds did not. Even after climbing off of the ladder it continued. I could not manage to reproduce bug, might have been because of lag?

 

Occurred in a singleplayer world.
