Launcher Will Not Open/Respond. Also don't tell me to reinstall as i've done it 6 times now.

What I expected to happen was...:

My launcher Opening

What actually happened was...:

It either didn't open or did but did not show the window nor respond.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Install Java edition On an early 2011 Macbook Pro

2. Attempt to open minecraft because some friends wanted you to play it with them.

3. get disappointed when it doesn't open

4. Attempt to spam click it to get it to open.

5. it finally says it's open, but no window appears nor is it responding.
