Game Crashes on Launch Exit Code:1

Game crashes and says "Exit Code:1" everytime. I've tried reinstalling Java and Minecraft numerous times. I've also tried manually setting the Java executable and I tried using the Windows 7/8 Launcher and the 10/11 one and the Microsoft store launcher.

I'm running the vanilla version of Minecraft with 0 mods and also have the most recent version of Java.

Update: for some reason my Minecraft is working on previous versions (1.6.2 and lower) but not on any version newer then that. Not sure why
