Everytime i send a message in the chat my minecraft shuts down

When i try to send a message in the chat box, my minecraft shuts down
What should happen is the message to go through and not shut down
What actually happens is Minecraft shuts down

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Go to the chat
2.and type in something to say
3.And click enter
