Players Can't join server after dying and logging out on death screen

I was playing on my friends Minecraft server spigot version, when I died and thought it would be funny to quit, so I click return to main screen, then try to log on and get stuck on loading terrain, this doesn't happen on other servers, is there anything I can do?
