Crash when i chat on mac

It keeps on crashing when i use chat it says in crash report JSON string: cannot send chat message
What I expected to happen was...:
Send the chat message

What actually happened was...:
It crashed

1.Type something on mac in chat on a public server
2. Hit enter
3.Crash
