Villages with /place can't be found with /locate

Hi folks,

I played new snapshot 22w18a today and I spawned in a plains biome after creating a new world and I decided to place a village there. In the chat, I typed in "/place feature village_plains" and then a village has been successfully spawned. But then, I typed in "/locate village_plains" and the command has said "The next village is at the coordinates -176, ~, 320", but that's wrong because I placed a village at 21 67 110. I hope that this can be also fixed asap!
