character reset to unknown/new when updating world

I updated to the new snapshots from 22w15a to 22w17a and now all my characters data is gone except what was in my inventory and my levels; It refuses to equip my personalised skin,my achievements are gone, I can't interact with my tamed pets(cats, parrots) and my villagers who had discount from cures have lost it.

Steps to Reproduce:
Upgrade map to 22w17a, I've tried loading back-up multiple times and it keeps occuring
