My game wont load past 5 chunks

Hi there. Recently i have been with this realy annoying issue on my minecraft where when playing my minecrfat doesnt load more then 5 chunks. I put my game on 8 chunks render distance but it only loads 5 please help. Any number i put to render my chunks over 5 wont work please help.
