Game crash when summon allay

My game froze and then crashed when I summoned an allay inside of a hopper and it took suffocation damage from the top-slab above it (I was trying to recreate Rays Works' allay sorting system. I had my cursor aimed inside the hopper and wrote /summon allay and then hit tab to autofill the coordinates. When I reopened the world, the game crashed again. The crash report said something about "ticking entity"
