Z-fighting can be seen on cows, mooshrooms, and pigs when their legs intersect their bodies
The Bug:
Z-fighting can be seen on cows, mooshrooms, and pigs when their legs intersect their bodies.
This issue doesn't occur with most other four-legged entities, therefore leading me to believe that this is unintentional.
Below is a table I've constructed that highlights these errors and shows the inconsistency here.
| Four-legged Entity | Is z-fighting present when their legs intersect their bodies? |
|---|---|
| Cat | No |
| Cow | Yes |
| Donkey | No |
| Fox | No |
| Goat | No |
| Hoglin | No |
| Horse | No |
| Llama | No |
| Mooshroom | Yes |
| Mule | No |
| Ocelot | No |
| Panda | No |
| Pig | Yes |
| Polar Bear | No |
| Ravager | No |
| Sheep | No |
| Skeleton Horse | No |
| Trader Llama | No |
| Wolf | No |
| Zoglin | No |
| Zombie Horse | No |
Steps to Reproduce:
- Summon either a cow, mooshroom, or pig.
- Hold its favorite food in your hand so it follows you.
- As the entity is walking, watch their legs closely as they intersect their bodies.
- Take note as to whether or not z-fighting can be seen on cows, mooshrooms, and pigs when their legs intersect their bodies.
Observed Behavior:
Z-fighting is present.
Expected Behavior:
No z-fighting would occur.
