Attaching lead to wooden fence using wooden fence uses 2 fences instead of 1 client side (1 dissapears)

Attaching lead to wooden fence using wooden fence uses 2 fences instead of 1 client side (1 dissapears). This is client side, the server gets the inventory correct when it refreshes.

 

To reproduce:

Attach lead to horse, switch to wooden fence. Place fence piece then attach the lead using the fence piece

 

What happens:

2 fence pieces are used, one disapears from the inventory temporarily

 

What I think should happen:

A single fence piece should be used client side.
