Waterloggable blocks within structures can generate waterlogged when next to chunk borders while other waterlogged blocks are present nearby
The Bug:
Waterloggable blocks within structures can generate waterlogged when next to chunk borders while other waterlogged blocks are present nearby.
When a waterloggable block generates next to a chunk border and other waterlogged blocks are next to it, the block that isn't normally supposed to be waterlogged, can generate waterlogged, causing water to spill everywhere.
Here is an example:
Version: 1.21 Pre-Release 1
Seed: 4373241205666815302 Coordinates: /execute in minecraft:overworld run tp @s 39350.19 -44.74 -2923.74 -128.35 37.47
Please note that you may need to fly to the given coordinates in order to reproduce this behavior.
Steps to Reproduce:
- Generate a world with the seed provided above and teleport to the given coordinates.
- Look closely at the waterloggable blocks.
- Take note as to whether or not waterloggable blocks within structures can generate waterlogged when next to chunk borders while other waterlogged blocks are present nearby.
Observed Behavior:

Expected Behavior:
Waterloggable blocks that aren't normally supposed to be waterlogged would not be able to generate waterlogged.
