Pig does not stop fleeing

I simply shot a pig with a fully drawn bow and it did not stop fleeing from me.

I thought it would flee for the normal amount of time that passive mobs flee.

It did not stop fleeing from me, as it continued to run in frantic circles.

This has only happened with one pig (So far.)

Here is what I did:
1) Draw bow completely back
2) Shoot pig.

I hope you guys can fix this. P.S. I killed the pig with my iron sword. Mmmm. Pork. Nom.

EPIC EDIT: I've tested this again, and other mobs do it too! Cows, pigs, and sheep ALL have this effect. (The sheep wasnt shot with a fully drawn bow, as that kills sheep with one hit.)
