Mangrove tree roots do not update blocks around them when generating

The Bug:

Mangrove trees sometimes do not update nearby blocks when growing.

Steps to Reproduce:

• Build the setup as shown in the attachment below. setup.png
• Apply bone meal to the mangrove propagule in order to make a mangrove tree.
• Look at the surrounding blocks.
• Take note as to whether or not mangrove trees sometimes do not update nearby blocks when growing.

Observed Behavior:

Mangrove trees sometimes do not update nearby blocks when growing.

Expected Behavior:

Mangrove trees would update nearby blocks when growing.
