Skin Broken Entirely.

So I tried changing my skin, and the request wouldn't go through. I then reset my skin and applied the skin file, and that visually seemed to fix the problem. However, when I went to check, my skin was now the default Steve skin, but with slim arms. I'd like an answer and a fix, please.
