Rails act weirdly when put "diagonally"

Basically, when i try to put two rows of rails diagonally positionned to each other, they keep connecting even if there are blocks separating them, like shown in the video. I've been experiencing that frustrating bug for years now. Even if i heard that one version corrected that bug (or maybe another one idk) i'm not sure it was very efficient.

Idk when this bug appeared for the first time actually 😅, but it "has followed" me since 1.14.2
