Whenever I go into multiplayer servers on any version I always get the message 'Failed to log in: The authentication servers are currently not reachable. Please try again'

Seems to keep happening even when trying again, restarting the game, uninstalling, using lunar etc. Sometimes it doesn't have this message, and logs in fine, but usually there's something wrong with logging in. I've tried this on 1.8, 1.16, 1.17, 1.18- all have the same problem, with slightly different error messages. I was wondering if this is a possible fix, as it is frustrating when trying to play with friends.

note: I didn't have this issue while on a Mojang account, so I was thinking this might have something to do with migrating to microsoft servers.
