Water breaking tripwire drops too many string items

When water flows into the tripwire setup depicted in the attached screenshot, the three tripwire blocks break, and one of them drops an additional string item, resulting in 4 string instead of the expected three. The problem occurs with any direction of water flow.

(Not sure if it's in any way related to MC-62066, which was fixed about 5-6 years ago.)
