[proxy] lost connection to server

sometimes i will randomly disconnect from a server. i thought it was the specific server i was playing on, but it happened on several servers across multiple versions.I googled the issue and it seems it is not just me, i did search for it on here, but all i see are reports of not being able to connect through a proxy. i am not connected through a proxy (its the same connection ive had for years) but still getting this error. its annoying as it makes multiplayer unplayable (it usually happens within 5 minutes of joining a server. there is no lag associated with this (my connection was fine). it just disconnects me. i have tried restarting my internet router, my pc and minecraft, nothing worked.
