Pillager eyes should be blue as Vindicator, Ominous banner or Minecraft Dungeons Pillager

According the developer Q&A from discord, which mentioned that pillager and crossbow were taken from Minecraft Dungeons: https://discord.com/channels/579770991056519194/818903542139453480/819631528593588244

and the early development phase of the pillager. Pillager eyes should be blue as Vindicator and Ominous Banner, instead of green as Evoker.

 

In fact, pillagers in Minecraft Dungeons have blue eyes.
