Crashes when entering message

When I join any server, I cannot chat at all, except for commands.
When I type in something like "Hey" (not just "Hey" it can be anything other than a command) and then I press ENTER, my Minecraft crashes

PLEASE I beg you, fix this bug, or please at least notify me if there is a easy fix for this.
