Unable to place or open trapdoors, and they can only be broken by a sword.

I had a closed trapdoor that I was trying to open. I was expecting it to open.

What actually happened was the trapdoor would stay shut. I right clicked multiple times, but no luck. I then decided to break the trapdoor, but the only thing I could break it with was my diamond sword. I then tried to put it back, but I couldn't place it on any block. Once again, I right clicked multiple times, but no luck.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Try to open a trapdoor
2. Try to break it with a tool besides a diamond sword
3. Try to place it back
