Shift clicking items in inventory not working while riding horses/donkeys, Happens to other friends on other operating systems

What I expected to happen was...:
For the item to shift click from my hotbar to inventory or vice versa

What actually happened was...:
Didn't, item stayed in slot not picked up or moved to appropriate inventory area

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Tame any horse/donkey/mule.
2. In survival mode, get on and try to shift click an item from inventory to hotbar or vice versa.
3. Observe the not workingness
