Pushing a sitting parrot into a boat causes the parrot to float while sitting if the boat is broken

If you push a parrot into a boat while said parrot is sitting, once you break the boat, the parrot will still be sitting. I presume that if the parrot teleports to land when this happens it will not be an issue, but if it remains in the water, the parrot is able to float without its feet out or its wings flapping. This is also on a multiplayer server
