Unexpected error has occured and the game has crashed - exit code 0

Hi there. I am unable to load a world in minecraft since updating to 1.18. The game loads as well as the world creation screens. The loading of the world itself also runs up to 100%, but the moment the world is supposed to load up, I get a popup screen that the game has crashed. I have saved the crash report and attached it as well for you to look at. 

I have even uninstalled Minecraft completely and reloaded it without any mods as a pure vanilla installation, but the same thing happened. Everything runs as normal right up to the point where I have to be dropped into the loaded world. 

Please assist to resolve the issue.
