Typing is off

Any time I place a sign or type in a book and quill it glitches. When I type something then hit return and type more on another line, when I exit it moves what I type right after the first thing. It’s very annoying. I don’t remember if it started after I turned my world into a realm or when I got the Caves and Cliffs part 2 update. It was one of those or maybe both. Nothing I do will fix it. If possible please fix this bug.

I try to type. But after I hit enter it becomes

Hello Alex
