Closing the game leaves with a black screen

Whenever I click exit game, minecraft closes, but my computer screen goes entirely black. I could only get rid of the black screen by pressing ctrl + alt + del and clicking on task manager, which shows my desktop screen again (or by restarting my computer). However, I don't know how to fix the glitch. Weirdly, this only happens every now and then.
