I don't get this but my minecraft launcher chrast if it starts the game and don't download the next version

What I expected to happen wasthat it started the game and downloaded the new version

What actually happened was that the launcher didn't download the new version because of bad video card drivers and me and my dad did al what we coeld to fix it

Steps to Reproduce:
1. I started mincraft
2. I tried to instal the new version
3. I can't play the new version of minecraft
