Non stop Freezing and Lag Spikes

As soon as I updated to 1.18 I had a world that started in 1.18 pre release candidate 3 and there were no issues but when I updated that world to 1.18 I have issues with freezes that last around a second and happen every 5-10 seconds. No correlation to where I look either
