Minecraft launcher isn't loading 1.18

I'm on macOS and when I try to launch 1.18 it says "An unexpected issue occurred and the game has crashed. We're sorry for the inconvenience. Exit code: 0" I've tried resetting my mac and redownloading Minecraft launcher but it never works. I've looked up solutions online but it never works. It works for every other version but not 1.18
