Lines between blocks underwater

White/blue lines are visible between blocks underwater, especially (but not exclusively) glass blocks.

Nvidia Control Panel settings for Antialiasing and Anisotropic filtering have no effect.

No mods are installed, but have tried Optifine to resolve issue (no effect).

Mipmap set to 0 has no effect.

In-game lighting settings as well as Fancy/Fast have no effect.

Reinstalling Minecraft/Video drivers have no effect.

Issue is present in Java Editions 1.18, 1.17, and was present as far back as 1.5.2. Also present in Bedrock Edition 1.18.
