The game itsellf wont open and when it does, the game crashes.

What I expected to happen was...:
I wanted to play Minecraft.

What actually happened was...:
The launcher never gives me the option to "play" and when it does it says "play offline". Then i click "play" and nothing opens, the game just flashes in window mode then it closes.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open the launcher
2. Try to press the PLAY button.
3. Wait until the game opens for 3 seconds before crashing.
