Surface light level 0; only one block light from torch

Not yet had the chance to test with RC4.

This happened in RC3.

 

Not entirely sure but it looks like the darkness is where I removed blocks.

 

When placing anything the light is correct some blocks around that block. After logging out and logging back in, the darkness returns.
