Server isn't working

So I recently, bought a MacBook Air m1, 1 week ago and whenever I start to play on Minecraft java edition  ANY version like 1.8 etc, it says can't caoonect to server, and gives this error: io.netty.channel.ConnectTimeoutException: connection timed out: 

My macOS version is macOS big sur 11.5.1
