when i try to name anything it appears all crunched up live if i had a really bad texture /resouce pack on

What I expected to happen is that it would be like normal

What actually happened was the sword name got very crunced and hard to
read

Steps to Reproduce
1. place an anvil down
2. place an item in the 1st slot in the anvil
3. rename it
4. it sould appear crunched up
