Performance is extremely poor compared to 1.17

I have a decently powerful computer (ryzen 7, rx580, 16GB of ram) and I never had any trouble running the game at 144FPS at pretty reasonable video settings. Now the game struggles to run any higher than 10 - 20 FPS which seems a bit odd considering thtat my computer usually runs all games, even the ore demanding ones at 60+ FPS. I also reduced the game resolution to the lowes it could go and still didn't get more than 10-30 fps.
