Accent bug on Minecraft Mac since 1.6.1 release

What I expected to happen was...:
Basicaly, when I type an accent such as éçàè (and many others), it should appear in the chat, but it don't. We cannot type accent

What actually happened was...:
When we type an accent, nothing happens.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Install Minecraft 1.6.1 or 1.6.2 with the new launcher
2. Join a solo game or a server
3. Try to type an accent, it doesn't work (only on MAC)
