World generation possible bug

Hello,

This is concerning the world generation, is it supposed that a hole with this big to be generated? I'm sorry in advance if it is.

The coordinates are near spawn (59 ~ -493) and the seed is 7948353383910433618 with only the KeepInventory set to true and bonus chest enabled, rest of the world settings were untouched.

I've also found on another world generation a mountain at spawn that ends with a ~30 block drop to an ocean that does not seem to end. Thought it was a one off so deleted the world before doing any checks.
