the new pre-release doesn't respond when saving world

So if you make a world in 1.18 pre-release 1 it is a little laggy, although smoother then the last snapshot when the world automatically saves it gets really laggy and then stops responding! Its annoying because it keeps me from playing it! Please make 1.18 LESS laggy!
