Snapshot 21w44a crashes PC when launched by new Launcher

Launching the newest 21w44a snapshot from the recently released launcher from the Microsoft Store crashes my computer. Whenever I lauch the snapshot from the old legacy launcher everything works fine.

CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 3600 6-Core Processor @ 3.60 GHz
RAM: 16.0 GB
GPU: Nvidia RTX 2060
