Absorption not regenerating hearts

1. I was using the absorption effect in minecraft for a PvP-arena.
2. I thought it would regenerate as it allwasy did, but it doesn't.
3. I think that the Absorption and the Heath boost extends the same class or something leaving them the only option availible: regenerate or not regenerate, which would effect both potion effects
