Mc's Confusing me

Ok, I Pad 26 bucks for minecraft and it wasn't working, It was my fault for not checking the system requirments earlier, I am on a windows 10 so it didn't work. But, I'm confused because it just started working yesterday, and now today, it isn't working again.

The problem Is it goes unresponsive at a certain place when loading up the game, so I can't even see the title screen. It can't really be fixed, and I know it's not really a bug, I just want to know why it worked for 1 day and then just stopped working.
